The coral rosary from the archaeological museum in Farnese
On June 13th I experienced a truly special day, outside of my everyday routine but deeply connected to my roots.
I was invited to the Farnese conference for the presentation of the seven-strand coral rosary, an event steeped in history, culture, and emotion. Heartfelt thanks to the Mayor of Farnese, Giuseppe Ciuci, and Dr. Pisu for their invitation and for giving me the opportunity to recount, for the first time in such an important context, the history of coral and its processing from the Renaissance to the present day.
It was touching to see how much interest there was in me, my story, and that of my country, so rich in tradition, art, and passion for coral and cameos.
The fascinating and evocative Museum allowed me to immerse myself in a new world that left me with intense and indelible emotions. I began by talking about myself, about my passion, born almost by fate, and then I shared the journey of coral: from its origins to the artisanal processing that spans the centuries to the present day.
I take home a heart full of gratitude and the certainty that our roots, when shared, become bridges of beauty and knowledge. 🌊❤️
